Bristol Fiesta Attracts Record Media Coverage and attendance.

The 2010 Astra Bristol International Balloon fiesta has attracted record media coverage despite the indifferent weather.

The event was covered locally by the BBC, ITV, Western Daily Press and the Bristol Evening Post. Friday morning saw BBC breakfast broadcasting live from the event along with GMTV. BBC 2 recorded several hours of footage for a secret show and the Children’s favourite Newsround also broadcast live.

Local radio station Heart FM were on site all weekend with regular live broadcasts and updates on their website.

Despite the poor weather conditions which limited the flying and tethering an estimated 500,000 people visited the site over the course of the weekend.

Al Ain dates for Joe McGrath

Lighter Than Air UAE sales manager Joe McGrath has been invited once again to commentate at the Al Ain Aerobatic Show in Abu Dhabi. The Show, which runs from the 27th – 30th January, is considered one of the largest and most prestigious events of its type in the world. Held in the UAE's cultural capital of Al Ain in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi and held under the patronage of HH General Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, the event attracts a glittering array of the world's foremost aerobatics specialists, teams and performers.
